Appearance and properties: white monoclinic crystalline powder or granules. Soluble in acid, alkali and glycerin, slightly soluble in water, the solution is alkaline (pH value of 10 to 11), an unstable solution, easy release of reactive oxygen species. 
Solubility: slightly soluble in water. Sodium perborate dissolved in water at 15 ℃, 1.93%, when the dissolution was endothermic reaction, aqueous alkaline. 40 ℃ decompose and release oxygen.

Main uses 
As oxidants, bleaching agents, fungicides, deodorant, detergents added like. Sodium perborate has a strong bleaching ability, but does not damage the fibers, suitable for protein fibers such as: wool / silk, and long fiber cotton bleaching senior. Is used as a disinfectant and medicine, also be used as mordant, additive detergent builder, deodorizer, the plating solution, analytical reagents, organic synthetic polymeric agents, as well as system toothpaste, cosmetics and so on.
