Ethylenediamine is an important chemical raw material, widely used in the manufacture of organic compounds, polymers, drugs, etc., used in the production of pesticides fungicides (Zineb, Dyson ammonium), pesticides, herbicides, dyes, dye fixing toner, synthetic emulsifiers, demulsifiers, fiber surfactant, water stabilizer, detergents, electroplating brighteners, paper wetting enhancer, an adhesive, a metal chelator EDTA, epoxy curing agents, rubber vulcanization accelerators, acid gas cleaning agent, photographic development additives, lubricants EHV stabilizer, welding flux, amino resin, ethylene urea-formaldehyde resins and the like. Also used organic solvents and reagents for chemical analysis, and the determination of beryllium, cerium, lanthanum, magnesium, nickel, thorium, uranium and other metals identification, antimony, bismuth, cadmium, cobalt, copper, mercury, nickel, silver and uranium for and so on.
